Beyond DV Annual High Tea and Fashion Show – 19 May 2019

As a part of Domestic Violence Prevention Awareness Month which occurs in May each year, Beyond DV will hold its annual High Tea and Fashion Event on 19 May at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The event includes a panel discussion on domestic violence in our community with special guests Simone O’Brien – Beyond DV Ambassador and DV survivor, Karni Liddell – Paralympian and Member of the Domestic and Family Violence Implementation Council, and Belinda Cox – Program Manager, Brisbane Domestic Violence Service.

This year’s fashion show is presented by the designers from Brisbane Arcade who are celebrating 95 years in the fashion industry.

Beyond DV’s High Tea and Fashion Show is on Sunday 19 May 2019 from 10am to 1pm at the Boulevard Room, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Tickets are $79 including a mimosa on arrival, hot and cold high tea fare and unlimited tea and coffee. For tickets visit:

Beyond DV was established to empower survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their lives. Beyond DV is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission – Charity ABN 24622159264.

All proceeds from the event go to programs and services that support survivors. All staff work on a volunteer basis and no wages are paid by the charity.

Beyond DV Official Launch

Beyond DV will host their official launch on Tuesday 16th January 2018.

Invited guests representing various government departments, domestic violence service providers and charities will join the Beyond DV team, including directors, ambassadors and supporters, to celebrate the commencement of our services to support women and children as they rebuild their lives after domestic and family violence.
